Version:           0.13.2 (using KDE 4.6.5)

Okular should have the capability to search for meaning of the highlighted word over the internet or from one of the installed dictionaries on the system, then show it's meaning in the form of callout over the world like the google dictionary extension of chromium.

The online dictionaries part is already possible with web shortcuts. Linking a related issue (translation instead of dictionary).
