Version:           2.4.90 (2.5 beta) (using KDE 4.7.3) 
OS:                MS Windows

I have on several attempts tried to get Amarok to do the fade out when I tell a track to stop playing, however, the track play for a few more seconds and abruptly stops.  There is no fade out.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Stop track and start over or close program and launch new 

Actual Results:  
No change in the issue.

Expected Results:  
For the track to properly fade out.

This depends on the Phonon backend, not sure it is possible yet.

I am able to get the same behaviour while running Amarok 2.5 under Windows 7.

As I said, this depends on the phonon backend, not much we can do on the Amarok side.

Phonon VLC has no volumefadereffect, because VLC cannot do volume fading at this time. Little we can do about that.
