Looks like I solved this issue myself. I edited application-specific setting for window (there were no special settings for it before), set "Maximized horizontally" to Force No. After that, I restarted Konsole, deleted application-specific settings, and restarted it again. The window no longer gets maximized. No, I was wrong. If I delete application-specific settings, window gets maximized horizontally again. This sounds similar to bug 285933 and bug 291809, although those two bugs are about "maximizing vertically". possibly bug #290990 - have a look, check the properties and expect it to be fixed in case it's this Thomas, thanks for the information. Alexander, could you please check this problem again using KDE SC 4.8? The two similar issues has been confirmed to be fixed in KDE SC 4.8 by the reporters. Changing status according to comment #5. I've just upgraded KDE to 4.8 and tested Konsole. The bug is fixed. |
