Version: 2.7.3 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux Whenever I drag a konsole window from one screen to another, it maximizes vertically (but only vertically, not horizontally as well). If I drag it around the same screen, it is fine. I thought at first it was the drag to top of screen to maximize gesture, but it happens when I drag it to the middle or bottom of the screen as well. Konsole also seems to start vertically maximized as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open konsole. Drag from one screen to another screen. Actual Results: Konsole vertically maximizes. Expected Results: Konsole should stay the same size. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.0-1.2-desktop Compiler: gcc
Forgot to mention that this only occurs with konsole, no other application. I also checked the kwin special application/window settings, but couldn't see anything in there that would apply to konsole.
Thanks for reporting. Could you please take a look at bug 285933 to see whether both reports are talking about the same problem? Unfortunately I don't use dual monitors or any similar setup. So I can't help at the moment or in the near future.

In any case, after upgrading to 4.8 today, I no longer have the issue.
Thanks for your feedback. Close it as FIXED, although I'm not sure whether this is really a Konsole bug,
