New crash information added by DrKonqi
plasma-desktop (0.4) on KDE Platform 4.7.1 (4.7.1) using Qt 4.7.4
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Added a new "Defualt panel" while exploring KDE. New panel was flickery and full of graphical bugs, then crashed. Have not yet installed proprietary graphical drivers for my system; I'm going to try this next.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Lots of graphical weirdness. Flickering, distorted graphics and colors and stuff.
-- Backtrace (Reduced):

plasma-desktop (0.4) on KDE Platform 4.7.1 (4.7.1) using Qt 4.7.4
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I just plug in second monitor trough HDMI cabel like extension of first monitor. I hope that panel will stretch to second monitor too, but it didn't. So I tried to create "default panel" on second monitor, and it crashed. By the way -- crashed every time.

(In addition to comment #2) My KDE sometime crashed on restart/shutdown of a system. I think, that could be something about drivers on my radeon (HD5730 -- it's notebook, this GPU build-in). I think so because, some day ago I installed kubuntu -- I was on linux-mint kde. There KDE was unbelievable lags, and crashed every time, especially after I has installed proprietary drivers. For some reason I couldn't send bugreports :( I have an nvidia G84M, so if your crash is network driver related, it's not the same bug. *** Bug 284253 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 284262 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 282552 *** |
