I've investigated the problem quickly and it seems kubuntu-desktop package didn't depend on polkit-kde-1 so it wasn't probably a bug in the agent but in packaging. Setting needinfo for: Does this problem happen to you when you have polkit-kde-1 installed and the agent (usually the polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 process) running? If so, please provide more information on your OS's release and polkit, polkit-qt, polkit-kde and muon versions. Thank you. Hi, I can't comment on that, I am running raring (updated as of today) with polkit kde, agentm backend... and things are working ok.
