YES! I totally agree.
Everyone needs to administrate his system. Adding features to do so in dolphin eases this remarkably, because one does not need to open a terminal simply to modify a file in /etc/ or run an installation script as root.
Further this is similar to how Windows handles admin stuff. As a result, it would greatly easy the switch from Windows users to Linux / KDE.
Now there is dolphin-as-root which is an additional program and can be used from dolphins context menu.
