- What I was doing when the application crashed:
it doesn´t matter what is done before, it crashes in every case and is totaly unusable now
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
sice I installed Kubuntu 10.10, Xorg consumes a lot cpu. Not after startup, but if the pc runs for approximately 5-6 hours Xorg alone consumes up to 90% of my AMD X4 965 BE, while the system is idle. Thats ridiculous. But I can´t find a specifig solution. I found two reasons: graphics drivers, or memory leaks in kde. The graphics drivers are not the problem.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Deleting ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/search/Last\ search works as well.
I thought it not to be duplicate because of all versions differ etc.
Is the reason for this behaviour known, is someone investigating, needs help?
