Thanks for the report. I assume you use the details view with expandable folders enabled - is this correct? Yes. Details view with "Open folders during drag operations" as well as "Expandable Folders" enabled. You can close the opened folder again by hovering a second time after opening it. I consider this behavior as OK, but I can leave this issue open as wishlist item if this behavior is not OK for you. I would appreciate leaving this item open as wishlist. Still I think closing when the cursor is not hovering anymore is the more logical approach. And without expandable folders? How to close the folder again? I agree, closing the folder automatically after the drag & drop action feels more intuitive. Duplicate of Bug 223948?
