Crash appears in libkdcraw. Check your system. Do you have more than one version installed ? Gilles Caulier *** Bug 244188 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I only had 1 version of libkdcraw installed, but I had somehow ended up with the KDE 4.5 version while the rest of my system is running 4.4.5. Removing that and installing the correct version fixed digikam on my system. (submitter of Bug 244188) Poldi, look comment #3 Gilles Caulier This is typically a binary incompatibility issue with libkdcraw. This is a problem with your distro packaging. Thanks Gilles. But if it is a libkdcraw problem it's not because I have two versions. I'm using libkdcraw.so.8.1.0 from KDE 4.5.1. Digikam isn't crashing for me as I said, it starts ok from desktop, but displays no pictures. From console I get: digikam: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libdigikam.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN11KDcrawIface6KDcraw26checkToCancelReceivingDataEv I assume this is the libkdcraw connection? It has been doing this since ver. 1.2. MAC It probably a message from digiKam kioslave used to query database. kioslave are seperate process. Gilles Caulier *** Bug 255840 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Not reproducible with digiKam 7.0.0-beta1. |
