If I change in Setting the Theme to black, the color of the texts in menus remains black, and it can't be read.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Change the theme in Settings to black

Actual Results:  
the text in the menus can't be read

Expected Results:  
the color should change to have a contrast and the text should be readable

Fixed in 2.0.0. digiKam now use KDE color theme scheme, instead a dedicated private theme manager. Please try 2.0.0 RC for windows, just released.
