*** Bug 219287 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** +1 from me. arcane options like the ones in the dropdown desperately need humand understandable explanations. and, probably like the op, i hat most of those "effects" and prefer to simply disable them -- which _i_ thought, Desktop->Desktop Effects was supposed to do. so, here's another question: how are these two related and why aren't they put together in a "get rid of resource hogging eye candy" section or so? *** Bug 255547 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** yeah, a check-box to Enable/Disable effects is preferred.. *** Bug 290008 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 307892 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** will a tiny checkbox make it for 4.11? I was about to file a bug before finding this, is an enable/disable in the works? This combo box got removed in Plasma 5 The confusing entries are therefore gone |
