Description Stefan Seyfried 2009-11-11 11:36:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

When using a Proxy for internet access, the "No proxy for" setting is not useful. It seems you can only add hostnames that will be matched and IP-adresses, but not IP-networks.

All other proxy-aware programs work just fine with a no_proxy="10.0.0.0/8" environment, but KDE does not.

With a 10.0/8 network, it is also not very practical to add every single IP address ;)

This is a bug from the days of KDE3. Still present, unbelievable.
