We have had a number of reports of this. One cause has been identified as a broken version of Qt 4.5.2. Could you please check if that is the cause? The relevant bug is #199333 Thank you very much for your prompt reply. The strange copy-on-select behaviour is a very old sin of KDE 4, circa 4.1. I'd already read that report and it is unclear to me, which version of QT solves the issue reported. I'm concentrating on copy-on-select feature that some times works and some others not. I haven't find any specific steps to reproduce the issue so far. I'll keep an eye on bug 199333 if the new version of qt solves the konsole issue as well. It seems to be related to the latest copy-paste problems. Please, make a dupe and if it is something else, I will come up again with a new case reporting the application that still has issues. Ok, I will. Happy hunting. The broken Qt version is 4.5.2, both 4.5.3 and 4.5.1 should be unaffected. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 199333 *** |
