I would like to ba able to split the main editor window, as kate does with CTRL+MAJ+T, in order to make it easy to adapted a aprt of Latex code to my current one.

I would also like to see this feature. It would be immensely helpful to be able to split the window like one can do in Kate, either vertically or horizontally.
