Already implemented for present windows in 4.4. In Desktop Grid I'm unsure if it is realy usable as long as there is no present windows layout. Now that Desktop Grid presents windows in KDE 4.4, can such feature be added? This would be very nice feature. Now I get "on all desktops" function but I would like to have "Close". But the "Close" does not work so well when closing a application what has unsaved data. It prompts the "Do you wanna save changes" dialoge right away and you can not get rid of it with middleclick. *** Bug 302455 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Ten years later this would still be a really good enhancement. Everything the present windows effect has would be also great for the desktop grid effect! More recently someone filed a similar issue at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389381 . This current issue seems to have been filed a long time ago, when Plasma's organization might've been different. Is this a plasmashell or kwin request? *** Bug 427161 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/2102 (In reply to Bug Janitor Service from comment #8) > A possibly relevant merge request was started @ > https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/2102 Does the current MR replace the "show on all desktops" with "close window" now? I found the first possibility quiet useful. Will this be configurable then? |
