SUMMARY In desktop grid's current implementation middle and right click functionality is dublicated - both create window's copy on another desktops. Need to implement another action for middle click. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open desktop grid with CTRL+F8 2. Perform right mouse click on any window 3. Perform middle mouse click on any window OBSERVED RESULT Both trigger the same action - dublicate window on another desktop, and remove copy on second click EXPECTED RESULT Actions should be different - for example, middle click should close the clicked window SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Correction: Right and middle click both currently switch 'window on all desktops' feature.
Yes, it would be a very nice feature, as there is another quite ancient request to implement middle-click close: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206501. Also, it would greatly improve 1. general consistency, 2. experience when using grid in conjunction with window tiling kwin scripts
