I am adding my voice to this request. This was a very useful feature that just disappeared in the KDE4 transition... Internationalization is one of KDE's biggest strengths, and the main reason i personally use KDE over more lightweight alternative WMs. Seeing internationalization aspects of KDE de-evolve as the project advances is somewhat disappointing. Many thanks to Andriy for his time. I hope he's not the only one working on kxkb, though! :) I too would like to see this useful feature come back in a future release. Not having to cycle through 3 (or 4) layouts can be a real time-saver in many real-world usage scenarios. I hope it's not much trouble to re-enable it in KDE4... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 204144 *** |
