Description gidantribal 2009-02-23 05:00:27 UTC
Version: SVN-Neon 20090221 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When I try to reassing global keys (Settings > Configure Shortcuts) i get the following error, for any key chosen:

"The shortcut 'Media Play' conflicts with the following key combinations:"

and there is no configuration listed on the message. If i click on "reassing" it will have no effect.

I'm using ubuntu 8.10.

Anyone able to reproduce this?
Comment 2 Seb Ruiz 2009-02-23 09:13:00 UTC
No, and I suspect it's a bug in the shortcut keys component of kdelibs. We don't handle this stuff directly.
Comment 3 gidantribal 2009-02-23 13:40:54 UTC
on ubuntu 8.10 x64 (not kubuntu), anyone is able to reproduce this behavior? and to whom should I report this bug?
Comment 4 Daniel Sjoholm 2009-03-14 19:51:24 UTC
Running Fedora 10 x86_64 here, with
Amarok Version 2.0.2
Using KDE 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1)
(Gnome, haven't tried how it behaves under KDE and if it differs at all)

I have the same problem.
Have had it for the whole 2.0 series.
I also wonder who i should report this bug too if this is the wrong place?
I'm willing to help test what causes this if i can get simple instructions for what to do.

I have the same config as in comment #4. And the bug reproduces. Also I dont know what neon is, but i dont think i have it installed.

Just thought i would let you know. Since the bug is being waited on neon becuase of bug# 187238. Perhaps the problem is elsewhere!
