Is this bug still present in a more recent kmail version? It is very related to bug 176104, that is already fixed (but could not be fixed in 4.2 rc1). The bug that I described is still present in KMail from 4.2.0 (final). I remember the bug you mentioned, that one has indeed been fixed for quite a while now (was only present in the early betas, I believe). Hm... any reason why kdepim is not even CC'd by default when I open a KMail bug? Reassigning from the bugsquad, I feel sufficiently sure about this. *** Bug 205590 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hello, just reporting same behavior occurs on Kmail 1.12.4 (KDE SC 4.3.5 - Kubuntu 9.10+backports). I'll try to check on KDE SC 4.4 (Kubuntu 10.04 alpha2) tonight and report my findings. I couldn't install Kubuntu 10.04 alpha2 so I upgraded my KDE SC 4.3 from Kubuntu 9.10 backports repositories. Same issue in Kmail 1.13.0 on KDE SC 4.4.00. Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
