I just want to support this suggestion. Having tried other photo software this would be a great usability improvement. Transform tools are already in the main toolbar so they're fine. But "enhance" and "color" tools are still stuck in the menus. regards, Carlos I actually mean the toolbar on the right. Not the main toolbar. If one currently activates an enhancement tool from the menu, there appears an entry of it in the toolbar on the very right (the place where one can also find things like properties, metadata, color, geolocation, caption, tags. However, when the tool has done its action, it disappears from the toolbar on the right and can only be reactivated via the menu. I just want to have all enhancement and transform tools permanently as buttons on that toolbar on the right. So, one could access them with one single click. And not with two clicks (one for the menu, one for the tool). This would just save time. *** Bug 187657 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Though "Bug 155406 - wish: extra tool bar in the image editor" is not exactly a duplicate of this entry, I would welcome if both wishes where combined. Having the tools on the right hand side with a more serious order than just stuffing every available tool in there would be a great step forward in terms of usability for the image editor. Following bug 155406, which have been fixed with 2.x serie, i think it's enough to solve this entry... Gilles Caulier |
