I installed using the official windows binaries, but it appears there is a bug with bugzilla that doesn't let the platform be set to MS Windows so I just submitted it as unspecified. A couple more things that I noticed that occur on windows only are: Move of files fails with an apparent permissions problem (logged in as local admin with full write access). The error states "Could not rename file..." The other error is that if I edit the location bar to an invalid path, it just shows an empty window and never gives an error of any kind. I would expect an error like "invalid path" or something similar. Agreed. Replacing Root with Computer under Windows would make sense. Moving files works fine for me on KDE 4.3, windows XP. Also entering invalid path gives a red passive popup line below contents, stating the path does not exist. *** Bug 163448 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.47 and Dolphin 18.04.x?
