Description Janet 2008-07-18 17:18:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The menu & toolbar part of KDE applications takes up too much space in KDE4. The menu bar has a lof of unused space under the text line, same is for most toolbars. Screenshot of konqueror 3+4 is attached.

It doesn't matter which style I choose. That's extremely annoying with lower display resolutions but also is annoying on highter resolutions. Either the standard styles like oxygen and plasma should offer an option to narrow those spaces or it should be a "global" option or the toolbars and menu bar should offer the option to conserve space in height.
