It would be nice if you could upload an example PDF that gives you this error. Otherwise this bug can not be verified easily. (Note to self: Setting timeout for additional feedback to this bug to 2007-07-01) Please also have a look at bug #146417 (which I closed as INVALID just a few minutes ago). This one also said that kprinter on Kubuntu 3.5.6 on Feisty didn't work properly. Sorry the formulation was misleading. The problem is not with printing existing PDFs, but with producing PDFs using the PDF-driver (e.g. to convert HTML-pages in Konqueror to PDFs). The bug may be related to bug #40294 (spaces in filename) and bug #145223 (gs returns errors). The problem seems to be long filenames and/or filenames with spaces (or maybe also special/accented characters). KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs. |
