Hi!  As of Kde 3.5.6, we've already got the "Open file with..." option for files in Kmail, but it is not yet available for URLs.  The available options are (translated from catalan language):

1. Open URL; it will be opened using the default browser,
2. Save link,
3. Save link as...
4. Copy link

I'm using Konqueror 98% of the time, but there are some sites it doesn't work; I've already filled a few bugs about this behaviour with specific sites.
