You can use the offline mode in the File menu. This option does not work as intended for two reasons: 1. I want to disable the notification not the checking for new email. Going offline disables downloading, not the notification. 2. Going into offline modes just changes the notification from "host not found" to "you are offline do you want to go online" every time KMail wants to check for mail which is every 10 minutes. So once again, I'd like to have a button "try do download new mail and don't bother me with any popups if anything goes wrong". does not work for me (see last comment) |
