Is it possible to change the title of report to: "can not import ics attachment into korganizer" (not added) I encountered the problem in a vmware instance running kde. I tried to simulate the problem at a different system, running kde natively and now kmail shows an invitation form, that I can accept or dismiss. That's what I expect. For a moment I thought that the problem could that the email is html formatted, but that does not seem to matter. Don't know, for now I must assume that the kde session running in vmware is not running smoothly. Created attachment 18507 [details]
This email does not show the accept calendar box in kmail
Send this email with e.g. 'cat ics2korg | sendmail -t' to a kmail account
(after changing the email address in the file). The ics attachment in the
file, won't be recognized as an email attachment.
converting the email from a dos (with ^M EOL) to unix format, does not matter. So, that's not the issue here. I changed the content-type of ics attachment form: "------=_Part_322_11560498.1163172372332 Content-Type: text/plain; name="Add to Calendar.ics" to ------=_Part_322_11560498.1163172372332 Content-Type: text/calendar; name="Add to Calendar.ics" But this does not change anything. It's something else, that works against it. When I open your mail (without sending it, just with kmail->File->Open) it is seen as normal text attachment (which seems to be ok, as the Conten-Type says that). When I change the Content-Type to text/calendar and open the mail again (and looking at the HTML style mail), I then see correctly the "You have been invited...accept, etc." body style. I'm using KDE-3.5.6 (from current SVN Head) So only the Content-Type is wrong in this mail. With the correct Content-Type it is still OK in kmail/KDE4. As the Content-Type is wrong, I'm closing this issue. |
