Description Andreas Nolda 2006-03-30 12:36:17 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

The following composer feature would be most useful for editing plain-text e-mails:

When breaking a line by automatic word wrap or by a manual hard line break, honour the line prefix and indentation of the preceding line similarly to Emacs' Filladapt minor mode, i.e.:

1. If the preceding line starts with a prefix like "1. ", "* ", "-- " etc. then skip the prefix by white space in the new line, e.g.

 * preceding line
   new line

2. Else, if the preceding line is indented without a prefix then intend the new line by the same amount of white space, e.g.

   preceding line
   new line

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
