Apologies if this is already filed, but I couldn't find anything resembling it.

The problem with middle-click on title-bar set to 'lower' a window is that it keeps it active.  This is barely noticeable without translucency implemented -- you just need to click on the front window to bring it into focus.  But with translucency (xcomp stuff, I mean) it becomes hugely uncomfortable, because the only near-opaque window is now at the bottom of the stack, and everything else then blends into an visual muddle.

Extending the options in Desktop | Window Behaviour | Titlebar Actions to include 'lower and inactivate' would be one solution.  Presumably kwin has a good understanding of what the 'next' window to activate would be (I'm guessing it'd be whatever would come up if you had done 'alt-tab' instead, say).
