I can confirm that with KDE 3.5.2. Indeed, checking "Enable display power management" makes it work again. I was trying the workaround of enabling display power management and set the sliders to: Standby after: 1 min Suspend after: 2 min Power off after: 3 min just to see what happened. I blanked after 1 min but I have the Slideshow screen saver selected to start at 1 min. So I tried setting the power management to 10, 20, 30 min respectively and Slideshow didn't start after 1 min. I seem to be ok now. With the 3.5.3-2 updates and logging out and restarting X and logging in and having power management set and everything disabled in it I get the saver to work. Nope still got it. Doesn't start with power management off. Is this #128610? *** Bug 140639 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
