This bug is still present in Kmail 1.9.1 (KDE 3.5.2) *** Bug 132432 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 133437 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can confirm this as well. In my case I specified the wrong server for my IMAP account. Consequently KMail failed to connect and refused to stop attempting to connect. I can confirm this with KDE 3.5.4 on FreeBSD 6.1 What's worse is that it's not even possible to tell KMail to stop checking the server altogether, it will just ignore the settings. This makes it completely useless until the server comes back. In case it's of any help, this is most likely a regression of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93199 And this bug report itself is the same as http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122096. It's just that this one is about wrong password, and that one is about wrong authentication method. But the problem is the same, "Cancel" doesn't cancel. *** Bug 122096 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
