This is either a KMail bug or a kwin bug. My first guess is KMail. The same happens here, too. Quite annoying. I always wait for the send-dialog to finish because I don't see that there is a dialog opened behind the mail-window. Only ALT-TAB shows the dialog. I can confirm that it does not have a keyboard focus. I also had it that it pops up behind the mail send window, but with KMail 1.8.2 from KDE 3.4.2 (Debian Sid package 3.4.2-1) I did not get this problem anymore. Maybe that behaviour is related to bug 105909. *** Bug 115283 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 131756 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** There are 2 problems in one : the focus and the synchronous call to kwallet. *** Bug 149314 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Unfortunately this is still present in Mandriva 2009, KDE 4.1.3. This is still present in Fedora 10, KDE4.2.0, KMail 1.11.0, KWallet 1.4. What makes it more annoying is the fact that it comes up every time I send an e-mail. On the same system, but now running KDE 4.2.1, KMail 1.11.1, KWallet 1.4, the kwallet dialogue now comes to the front. It also no longer asks continuously, just if kwallet is closed, as would be expected. This is fixed for me using the above versions. If it works, let's close it. |
