Version:           3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)

Reading the option, it appears that unchecking would allow me to close tabs by midde click.  However, it only works partway: when you middle click on the browsing view it doesn't open a new tab anymore; instead, autoscroll appears, which is right.  But when you middle click on hte tab bar on a tab, it tries to open  the url you selected, completely wrong according to the unchecked option!
