kontact also changes the order of the sidebar and the overview when switching language. (kde 3.3) It's not possible to reorder the entries by a gui, however you can change the .desktop files. Ciao, Tobias Yes, sure you can change the .desktop files *if* you have admin rights on that machine. But for me as a user it would really be nice if I could somehow reorder the icons. I think that's quite a legitimate wish. Cheers, Reinhold You don't need admin rights. You can change the .desktop files in your ~/.kde. Do not reopen WONTFIX issues unless you want to implement the feature yourself. BTW: which *.desktop files are to be altered and how should they be altered (okay with an editor, that's not what I mean how should they look like in the end)? |
