Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 3.4.3 OS: Linux Sometimes when I copy an URL, klipper pops up its actions menu. However, when I click cancel it appears again. The only possibility to hide it is by disabling the actions.
Uhm this isn't a crash...
This wouldn't be a link from mozilla, firefox or emacs by any chance?
It happens only when I copy from Firefox.. for Konqueror it doesn't seem to pop up.
This should be fixed now. Reopen if it still an issue.
Still the same problem.
What application do you use when you see this?
Mostly firefox.
same problem on KDE3.4 with Mozilla (but I don't think Mozilla is an issue). Moreover, klipper is tuned not to bring up the window when I copy link from Mozilla, Opera, Galeon or anything like that. And it does not on the first hand. But later, after changing focus between windows, klipper remembers URL and offers it repeatedly up to disabling actions completely or selecting another clipboard item from list. Extremely annoying it offers URL when its settings window is open.

This should be already fixed by several things: - workaround for bug #101087, as Firefox's clipboard implementation has broken TIMESTAMP as well - including Firefox's changed WM_CLASS in the list of windows for which actions are disabled - adding one more check to prevent the popup with the same url
