i have a "minimal" konqueror main toolbar, with only up, back, forward, reload and stop buttons. next to it on the right, i place the location bar. 
now, the problem is that the location bar "jumps" down below the the mainbar as soon as the window is resized to a somewhat smaller vertical size.

on the first screenshot you can see that the location bar is below the mainbar, not next to it. i have to resize the window to get the preferred behaviour, as seen on screenshot 2. 
as you can see, 70% or so of the location textfield is empty. this behaviour wastes valuable screen space, especially in lower resolutions.. 

please reduce the minimal size of the textfield or make it configurable...
