Description Janis Blechert 2004-07-26 21:16:05 UTC
Version: 3.2.3 (using KDE 3.2.3, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-ck5

Normally I would have two toolbars in the same row (stripped down maintoolbar and locationbar), if I start konqueror via the menu it all works fine and looks how it's supposed to but if it's opened via the bug report window the toolbars are in seperate rows. sorry if my description is kinda strange, i don't seem to be able to find the right words right now. Of course the toolbars should just act how they are saved in the profile.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. I have three toolbars: the main toolbar, the location toolbar and the bookmark toolbar. In this order. One below the other. But since I upgraded to KDE 3.3 each time I open a new Konqueror from Kicker or just a new window via Ctrl+N the toolbars are ordered in a seemingly random order.

This happens here too, and when it happens it's quite impossible to correctly reposition the toolbars via drag'n'drop.
Moreover, if you save the toolbar position (or dimension, or actions in them) in the profile, it happens a quite odd thing: the next time you load K. it's all fine (let's call it "state A"), but if you reload it another time, it's like if you didn't do any change (let's call it "state B").
And every "odd" time you load K. you get state A, and every "even" time you load K. you get state B

I think this is solved in 4.1.60 svn trunk 831729.
Also this could be a dup of bug 69445.

I confirm it has been fixed in KDE 4.
