No. I asked in my whislist to save all related configure files of KMail from $HOME/.kde/share/config directory into a bzipped file with also all Mail directory, or specifying the directory of the emails to archive. If this feature doesn't want to be realized in future KMail version remove this "bug". I can't tell you nothing, but if in future studying KDE, KMail I can realize this future could I do it? Actually this should be assigned to kontact, as backing up email is not enough since working with kmail is bound to kaddressbook as well as korganiser and knote. Thus Kontact should have a central tool to export all its data and configuration in order to allow the user to easily restore its working environment on a different computer, or after installing a new linux.
