After merged in kde3.3 beta my locationbar refused to fit in the same line as the main bar, after playing around with it it seems to have a minimum size which is _way_ to big (it moves to the below line if I shrink the window or add more items then 6 (1024x768)).

Noteworthy is that placing all items of the mainbar in the locationbar didn't split it up, but some items can't be placed there (Increase/Decrease font size).
