Description S. Burmeister 2004-05-30 13:13:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When I click on a file in Konqueror and want to select the file below it, I press SHIFT and press the cursor-down-button to indicate the direction of the selection command initiated by pressing SHIFT. However Konqueror does not recognise the command to select but only moves the cursor down.
What I have to do in order to select the file below a selected is, press SHIFT, move down TWICE which is clearly contra-intuitive and was fixed in KDE 3.1.2 till KDE 3.2 and now is broken again.

Can confirm in Tree View mode indeed (CVS HEAD). Icon View mode works ok.

Comment 4 S. Burmeister 2004-10-14 09:26:30 UTC
Still valid for 3.3.1, why is this not fixed? This is a usability issue.
Comment 5 S. Burmeister 2004-12-09 10:10:50 UTC
