Description james 2004-05-25 07:01:07 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When Juk outputs to aRts, the sound artifacts/crackles/pops. If I switch the output to gStreamer, it works perfectly. I have tried playing sounds in XMMS with the aRts output plugin and I do not encounter this problem.

XMMS doesn't use aRts for decoding -- it uses it essentially as a "pure" sound server. This is basically the same bug as: 80898, 71112, 66911 or 51415.
