Description Scott Newton 2004-04-22 07:21:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS: Linux

1. Open the file selection dialog
2. Hit F8 to view hidden files.
3. Hit F8 to hide hidden files.

The resulting display is not refreshed - please see attached screenshot. I would expect to see all the non hidden files nicely aligned which can be achieved by hitting F5 - Refresh. The file selector should do this automatically.

Once I realized I need to have the dialog in "Icon mode" I can reproduce it.

Not a KDevelop specific problem however.

Reassigning.

I can confirm this bug for KDE-3.3-RC2, compiled via konstruct with
gcc (GCC) 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Cooker) 3.4.1-1mdk).
I did not use F8, but the respective button from the menus.
The result was the same, though: file list was not being refreshed.
