Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 [FreeBSD] 20031106 OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 5.2.1-RELEASE I've got a Canon PowerShot A60. When I configure it in KControl, the test goes okay and the information screen says: Camera identification: Model: Canon:PowerShot A60 Owner: Power status: on battery (power OK) Flash disk information: Drive D: 63'074 bytes total 52'054 bytes available Time: 2004-04-12 16:27:22 (host time +0 seconds) When I go to Konqueror and use the URL camera:/ it sometimes shows the camera, and sometimes it does not. Then when it does work and I go and click on the folder named 'Canon PowerShot A60' I go to the URL: camera://Canon PowerShot A60@[usb:]/ but that gave me an error a number of times and then it finally did show some directories. I know this is hardly usable as a bug report, but I would like to know how to get the camera support to go into verbose mode or so, so I can get it to produce some more information which I can then add to this bug report. One thing I do notice is some error messages like the following: konqueror: WARNING: KGenericFactory: instance requested but no instance name pa ssed to the constructor! kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KActionCollection::KActionCollection( QObject *pare nt, const char *name, KInstance *instance )
I'm experiencing related problems with a Canon A60 (see bug #74215, comment #25). It's certainly not a generic konqueror issue but specific to kio_kamera. Also, this might be a duplicate of bug #74215.
fixed with 3.2.2 ... please test it there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 74215 ***
