Description Diederik van der Boor 2004-03-03 11:38:19 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-gentoo-r7

The konqueror side bar jumps back instantly while I try to drag (resize) it. This causes the screen to flicker.
Comment 1 Joseph Wenninger 2004-03-16 18:48:30 UTC
This only happens if the document view space of konqueror has tabs activated, so I assume it has nothing to do with the sidebar itself, but with the tab feature

I can resize it, but only to zero or maximum width. All other sizes flicker fast between the chosen size and the size it was before I dragged it. Setting the size in an un-tabbed instance works and sets the size properly in the tabbed instance too.

Interesting observation: Doesn't happen with CloseTabButton=false

I see exactly the same behavior as Jonas did (comment #4)
Comment 9 Andreas Pietzowski 2004-04-21 16:00:09 UTC
I can reproduce the bug still in the brand new KDE-3.2.2 from yesterday.
Comment 10 Koby Leung 2004-04-23 03:13:58 UTC
I've had it since upgrading to 3.2 from 3.2 - same error
