first, to everyone who is getting CC'd on this bug report: i'm working on a new systemtray protocol that will allow us to be much more intelligent about how we handle these things. that's the good news. the rest is my "don't mess with the bug system rant", so unless you're one of the duplicate bug posters, feel free to ignore the rest ;-)

so... Mohd... i appreciate your bug reporting efforts immensely, as i do everyone else's efforts. if i may request one thing however: please search the already filed bugs to see if it is a duplicate and if it is comment on the existing bug and/or vote it up.

in this case there were 19 bugs open for the system tray and the second two of them (including the second one in the list =) refer to icon hiding / XP style system tray capabilities.

additionally, please do not submit multiple versions of the same bug ... it doesn't help get any more attention, it just makes more work for me (while annoying me as an added bonus ;)... BR#75976 and BR#75977 are virtually identical. if you had an after-thought, you can always add a comment to existing bugs, which is WAY more helpful to me as a developer than having to pull together a bunch of duplicate bugs ...
