Description cerebro84 2004-02-10 21:16:02 UTC
Version: v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.2.90 (CVS >= 20040117), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-4mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.2-rc3

I'd like if kget supported segmented downloading - just like nt (for linux) and getright (for win) do. I'm using nt instead of kget just because of this lack.

This is indeed a desired feature. All other popular Download Managers do Multi-threaded downloads. Example, Flashget, IDM (Internet Download Manager), GetRight, Gozilla, etc.

The Best Unix Desktop Environment must have the Best Download manager :D.
