Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.90 (CVS >= 20040117), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1 Per default konqueror displays to the left a list of directories (as usual) and to the right view of the selected directory. When I try to resize the views by dragging the middle "thing" (I don't know the term for that) something strange happens: - In one display update it shows the correct resized frames - In the next display update it shows the initial layout This means that a kind of flickering effect occurs, showing "both" the resized and not-resized layouts. When I let go of the mouse button, it always reverts to the original layout. Strange. This happens only in konqueror, other applications work fine (such as JuK or Kmail).
I have recompiled qt and all of kde cvs with gcc-3.4 cvs, but the problem is still there.
This has just started happening to me. Very strange. After playing around with it you can end up in a situation where you cannot make the sidebar content visible at all. If this happens you can delete ~/.kde/share/config/konqsidebartng.rc to get it back. BTW, I'm using an up to date check out of KDE_3_2_BRANCH

Very strange and irritating bug. Confirming in CVS-HEAD. Normally I have icons on the left side (with content of tabs hidden). I used to click on tab and chosen sidebar was opened in proper size. From 2 or 3 weeks sidebar doesn't open and and I am not able to resize it manually to proper size. Only whole screen can be made. In other states it madly flicks.
I have the same problem since I upgraded to Konqueror 3.2.2 (KDE 3.2.2). The only problem is the bar for the tabs. The problem only occurs when it is shown. If there is only one tab opened (and the setting, that the tab-bar is always showed, is turned off) I can resize it without any problem.
This seems to be a duplicate of Bug 76360.
