Version: 0.13.2 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 3.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.23 I was becomig crazy to print in horizontal with KGosthView. I told KGhosthView to print in landscape. I setted the driver of my CUPS system to print landscape but nothing. I printed a file in orizzontal with KWrite (a stupid file with just "try" written an a raw) and it worked, then I printed the file to PDF, then I opened with KGhostView the PDF file I got, I tryed to print it in landscape and nothig it printed vertically. This is a bug. I lost 20 pages to try, so I know that this is a bug. Correct it in 3.1 BRANCH and in HEAD if it present in HEAD too. Thank you.
Duplicate of #69020? I have kghostview 0.20 (KDE 3.2.1), and it allows prints landscape PDFs in portrait mode, even though I've changed the printer setting in the CUPs driver to landscape. KPDF respects the orientation setting, so it's not the driver, but prints small text as indistinguishable blobs... :-/ Printer is a Samsung ML-1710 Laser
Same here. KGhostView 0.20 in KDE 3.2.1 always prints in Portrait no matter the setting for the printer. The print preview even looked right (landscape) but the paper copy came out wrong. Adobe Acrobat printed the same file correctly in landscape.
To further add my previous comment, I am using CUPS. Also, when Acrobat printed fine, it went through KPrinter.
Isn't this a duplicate of bug 69020?
yes. I think so.
