Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.92) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux I would like to have a directory associated with a date and when the date is selected, to be able to see a view of the items in the directory. This could be handy in a general way to account for recipts, notes and other things associated with the selected date. I am wanting to scan in recipts and to-do items (bills). Currently, I am scanning my recipts and putting them into a directory and name system like ".../2003/10/07/walmart-1.jpeg". If korganizer had directory view pane and a way of setting one or more directory roots (like kpackage), it would be easy when a date is selected to map the date onto this directory naming system and to show the items in the directory. Ultimately, it would be nice if I could drag from xsane and drop onto a date or onto the to-do list. Then when bills or other papers arrive, instead of having to manually enter the information, it would be easy to quickly scan the bill and from this create a minimal entry in the to-do list that could be annotated with more specific information later (like the bill's due date). With this, korganizer would become a document management system.
