Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Due to the usage of Windows computers at the office, Cyrillic data on PDA is stored in Windows-1251 encoding. However, for sync with Linux host, it's needed to convert all information to koi8-r(u). Such functionality is implemented in JPilot, that allows to specify encoding both on PDA and host computer and provides necessary conversion.
This is done in CVS, where you can choose the encoding from a drop-down box. In KDE 3.1.4, you need to edit the configuration file. Search the kde-pim mailing list for it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 35975 ***
